Having joined a comilation album released from Where Are My Records (Canada), Miaou is gradually winning fans in the north American and Japanese music scenes. A year after their second album, Make These Things Alright, Miaou releases their latest. This time the band features an Austrian musician, Qua, also known as a producer for Architecture in Helsinki, British post rock band Epic45 and Pascal Asselin (millimetrik) from Below The Sea. Now Miaou is ready to challenge the global market. Formed in 1999, band released their debut album Happiness (Noon Records), 2003. In 2005 the band released a second album Make These Things Alright. The band joined the compilation album Je T’aime (Where Are My Records), which also featured Epic45 and Below The Sea in 2006. The new album features 5 new tracks and 3 remixes by Qua (headz), Epic45 and Pascal Asselin (millmetrk) from Below The Sea.

一般的所謂後搖滾作品，給人的感覺總是離愁別緒、哀怨動人、抑或就是如envy及boris那般的暴烈和動力，又或者諸如電音派後搖般的知性抽離。然而， 後搖滾可以是光明、積極的嗎？接觸過explosion in the sky，那種明亮、不斷推動向前的精神都叫人感動，若論到東洋的代表大概可以捧出Miaou。1999年成立於東京，以三人為一體的Miaou與一眾新掘 起的日本後搖樂隊一樣在默默做著變革，他們沒有像mono般衝出日本，卻一直緊守崗位，吸納著西方後搖的精神，卻注入東方的細膩表達手法。Miaou的作 品沒有大喜大悲的戲劇段落，感情卻在緩緩流動，你可以感受到樂隊那種勇敢正面，卻又不失客觀抽離的世界觀。玩著這些沒有包袱的音樂，沒有要跟誰拼個你死我 活，沒有要向那位大師致敬的亦步亦趨，更沒有Let's get rock and roll的盲目激情，原來日本後搖也可以如斯風光明媚。[转来转去，出处不详]
